This added bit of variety is nice, and since that’s basically all the Default Plus resource pack does, there isn’t anything bad to say about it. This allows for fields of dirt, mountains of stone and deserts full of sand where it isn’t just the same, single texture repeating over and over again as far as the eye can see. Surprisingly, that extra definition won’t make your computer run any harder to display – Default Plus has the same 16x resolution as vanilla Minecraft and can be used by practically anyone.īasically, Default Plus does something to improve the repetition of blocks, so you can get several instances of the same block that look slightly different from each other. ![]() It’s one of those faithful resource packs that don’t really change the textures from normal Minecraft, but do manage to make them look better by adjusting things like shading, colors or in this case, the sharpness of the textures. Have you ever thought that Minecraft looked just perfect as it is, but that it could look better if the vanilla textures were just sharper and clearer?
